Last night, SNL aired a remotely produced episode. It was the first time in history the show wasn’t live. The cast members produced sketches from their own homes. To begin the episode, they created a new opening credits sequence, with footage recorded from their homes and Kate appeared with her cat Nino. Tom Hanks opened the show with a monologue. Kate appeared as RBG in the sketch “RBG Workout“, Aidy and Kate reprised their roles as Henriette and Nan in “Zoom Call“, Kate was the voice of a doctor in the cartoon “Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles“, and finally, they made a tribute to Hal Willner. Hal was SNL’s longtime music producer and he sadly passed away earlier this week with symptoms consistent with coronavirus. I’ve missed this girl and SNL. Another great episode from an incredible cast. The best part though was seeing Kate and everyone safe and healthy. ❤️
